So — you didn’t register for this great ride; and you didn’t do any fund raising; and now it’s too late?
NO WAY! We really want you to participate in this event so here’s the scoop:
One day riders — contribute a minimum of $100 (bring the payment on the morning you arrive (Verona Beach State Park on Satorday, or Parker Apts. on College Street on Sunday)
Full ride — $200 contribution (bring on Saturday morning to the start at Verona Beach State Park)
The first annual Wanderers’ Ride will take place on June 26-27, 2010. The two-day ride will begin and end in Verona Beach State Park (just north of Canastota, New York) with an overnight at Colgate University. Each day, cyclists will travel 40-50 miles through some of the most beautiful scenery in New York State. It is a fully supported ride with water stops, route maps and markings, and sag vehicles.
The ride takes place entirely within historic Madison County and begins on the Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Highlights include Chittenango Falls, Cazenovia College, Tuscarora Lake, Colgate University, Lake Moraine, and Peterboro. On Saturday night we will be dining together at the Colgate Inn in Hamilton, New York.
